Hannah Fry, Mathematician & Best-Selling Author
Professor Hannah Fry is an Associate Professor in the Mathematics of Cities at the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis at UCL where she studies patterns in human behavior. Her research applies to a wide range of social problems and questions, from shopping and transport to urban crime, riots and terrorism. She is a mathematician, a best-selling author, an award winning science presenter and the host of numerous popular podcasts and television shows. Her critically acclaimed BBC documentaries include Horizon: Diagnosis on Demand? The Computer Will See You Now, Britain’s Greatest Invention, City in the Sky (BBC Two), Magic Numbers: Hannah Fry’s Mysterious World of Maths, The Joy of Winning, The Joy of Data, Contagion! Bernd Rücker
Bernd Rücker is a software developer at heart who has been innovating process automation deployed in highly scalable and agile environments of industry leaders such as T-Mobile, Lufthansa, ING, and Atlassian. He contributed to various open-source workflow engines for more than 15 years and I’m the Co-Founder and Chief Technologist of Camunda – an open-source software company reinventing process automation. He is the author of “Practical Process Automation” and co-author of “Real-Life BPMN”. Additionally, he is a regular speaker at conferences around the world and a frequent contributor to several technology publications. He focuses on new process automation paradigms that fit into modern architectures around distributed systems, microservices, domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, and reactive systems.

Jakob Freund
Jakob is Co-Founder and CEO of Camunda – responsible for the company’s vision and strategy. He’s also the driving force behind Camunda’s global growth and takes responsibility for the company culture. As well as holding an MSc in Computer Science, he co-authored the book “Real-Life BPMN” and is a sought-after speaker at technology and industry events.

Mary Thengvall is the Director of Developer Relations at Camunda and a connector of people at heart – personally and professionally. She loves digging into the strategy of how to build and foster developer communities and has been doing so for more than 10 years. She’s the author of the first book on Developer Relations: The Business Value of Developer Relations and is also known for being “the one with the dog,” thanks to her ever-present medical alert service dog Ember.
